Two of my photos made flickr’s Explore feature this week –
This one

and
This one

I could have taken a million photographs this week like these. The winter light in the small streets and tunnels was beautiful.
This one follows with the other two:

I just got back from trip number 2 to Barcelona.
Last year, I began participating in a 52 week project and I fizzled out somewhere in late March/early April. It’s a new year, and I hope to do better this year (or maybe even finish)! The group has a theme each week and each participant must take their photo as per the theme. Sometimes the themes are difficult and out of my comfort zone and that, I think, is quite good for me.
This year begins with the theme of “new”. I’ve opted to interpret this by taking photographs of dew on the morning of a new day. Perhaps not the most creative of interpretations, but it’s just the beginning.

Runner up!
Hey, one of my galleries was featured on the flickr blog! Take a look at it here.
A new series. I got the idea while I was in the Cayman Islands, looking out at an ocean that changes all the time. I had a vision of many photos of the ocean with perfect bands around the first, second and third of the frame, but all variable in color, texture and attitude.
